not be that different measured at 8&4. It would be a little less than 1mm, but considering the length of the measured tangents, the differences would not be much. Use your geometry training. The differences as measured from the center of your wheel hub are about an inch or two on the rim, and the overall toe is across the diameter of the full tire... like 25-28". IMO, the inherent error in the backyard mechanic measuring instruments is going to be greater than the differences you are concerned about.
